Timber Staircases is a sister company of The Loft Room Staircase Company, established 1998. We specialise in bespoke curved staircases on a constant radius and solid hardwood staircases for high-end residential and commercial projects.
The Timber Staircases brand is synonymous with deep, specialist skills that combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art design. Luxury is in the detail. Every timber staircase is designed as an architectural centrepiece.
Our custom-made timber staircases
Our expertly customised staircases are produced by pairing the technology of CAD/CAM (Computer Aided Design/Modelling) design software and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) automated machinery, with time-served craftsmanship. Our staircase structures are designed and manufactured in-house at our 52,000 sq ft factory workshop in Harlow.
Our Harlow workshop is powered by over 1500 solar panels on its own roof.
Our joiners work with a variety of timber products, each selected for its grain, durability and finish, depending on the requirements of the project. We combine timber such as oak, walnut, sapele, pine, ash and wenge with a range of materials to produce unique, contemporary timber staircases. Where pine is specified, we use furniture-grade Redwood pine strings, selected for their quality and finish
Our core capability is curved staircases on a constant radius, alongside bespoke solid hardwood, straight and winder staircases. We design and manufacture curved and continuous handrails in-house. We develop the geometry and detailing to suit each project.
Every balustrade, tread and riser is precision-engineered and built to the highest standards, and in line with all safety and building regulations.
